It’s interesting how some people think you can be heavy-handed and “bully” a sale out of a prospect.
“Hello, nice to meet you…
…now GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!”
There’s a process of rapport building needed to make a sale so it is a win/win. And one without buyer’s remorse.
Dating actually is a pretty spot-on analogy here – take a look:
The sales process from suspicious stranger to lifetime client is following this path => know you, like you, trust you.
I’d love to hear what you see as things companies do to make you want to “date” them, get to know them better, and then commit to be a regular client of theirs for life.
Best,
JOE

Awesome video Joe I could not agree more on the sales process. I build relationships with all my customers. Carpet cleaners need to understand you are not in the carpet cleaning business you are in the relationship business.

Good analogy. My only concern is if the future client is male.

HAHAHAHA! THX, SUPERB! Plus you just gave me a fresh idea
to create a video based on “dating” a company or biz…LOL
Yes, it’s became pretty important to change some “personality excluded” behavior when our relationship is quite limited to “communication with the backs” – just take a look at home, for example: what you see? NO FACES ANY MORE! Everybody is occupied gazing their mobiles or PCs, nobody have any time to look at the EYES of each other…And this is really “dramatique” if not completely tragic…Well, the subject isn’t new but very sensible & actual.
